“Suteki da ne” • how many fan adaptations have I done?

THIS POST HAS BEEN UPDATED. As I'm approaching the end of the incredible FF7 and am starting a little bit of FF8, I've been thinking about FF10 a little bit as well and how I'd like to give it a proper try. Tidbits of self-inflicted spoilers have been digesting in my brain...I still haven't played the game 😓 but hopefully this second attempt will get closer to something that really ties into the actual context of the game, instead of sticking too close to a literal rendering of the original Japanese lyrics. God, they're so vague and superficial-looking...does adaptation work really have to involve making shit up? Damn....

That intro was too long, ANYWAYS I'll leave the older lyrics and the Google Doc link far below, cuz I don't wanna mess with the stuff that was already there. Full lyrics with proper annotations and stuff are still in the Google Doc though. Here's my new attempt:
