I've been playing New Club Penguin a lot lately, and I recently discovered the PSA Training Missions. The first two are really bland, but they quickly get interesting, and I've basically been binge-playing them since yesterday! I've been getting lots and LOTS of free time since we're in Thanksgiving Break, and so this is kind of just boredom-alleviation and mind-occupation, but it's also pretty good. I imagined what an animated movie for the mission stories would look like, and so I figured "hey let's draw a fanart!" And so here it is! I have an idea in mind for another Webtoon-based one.
It feels like as the day has gone by, the anxiety and intrusive thoughts have calmed down, so all 5 days of Thanksgiving Break should be a good respite. While drawing this, it felt like there was some sort of pressure in my mind to do things quickly, dashing between reference images and whatnot. Perhaps it's just that my mind still needs rest, although I also want to catch up on exercise and going outside and traveling and all these good things.....agh!!! But, let's keep a mild, steady pace.
The intrusive thoughts have been getting a lot better! The moments when something really depressing or scary pops into my mind are becoming noticeably weaker, fewer, and farther between. There are times when instead of my mind feeling like it's rushing, it instead feels more like thoughts are going through while my mind feels all sleepy even though I'm standing up and my eyes are open. It's probably just tiredness. There have also been some thought-tangents that sound like complaining or speculating about things going wrong, although I can tell they seem unrealistic and I know it's better not to think of these sorts of things. Basically, I've been focusing on doing positive things, based on the idea that to counter a negative spiral, you put in the willpower and effort to start a positive spiral.
Anyways, my mind feels tired and I'm losing my train of thought, so I'mma take a break. Continuing to get back to hobbies and health and whatnot!
