GUYS FLANDRE OMG (I'm finally working on the EoSD Extra Stage!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 and wanted to draw something for it!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼)

I did not expect to make this entire thing today!!! I thought I’d just make a small scribble, but then I kept going with it and it turned into this entire finished thing. It’s been so long since I’ve drawn, let alone drawn a full figure head-to-toe, so some things are definitely a bit wonky (especially the legs, I swear they looked fine before I drew the skirt, I cannot figure out skirts for the life of me 😰).

But aside from that, I’m really impressed with how this turned out. It feels like the culmination of all the things I’ve experimented with and developed for myself—the strong shading style, the style of coloring glowy/translucent stuff (for the crystals hanging on Flandre’s wings), the style of drawing bright shining light (adapted into the cranberry juice splatter, the pointy-shaped magenta stuff on Flandre’s hand), and getting better at seeking out and trying out different tools and ways of drawing stuff until I get the effect I want (textured-looking background is courtesy of “Dry Textured Creases” brush). And all of this completely out of left field. I was in a zone today! 😵‍💫
